Engagé, trash et sincère Nan Goldin memories Docu autobiographique, axé sur ses actions militantes visant à effacer le nom des Sakler des musées pr un mécénat basé sur le commerce des opioides (marketing sur la non nocivité des produits, prime pr les médecins les prescrivant…). Le film revient sur la vie de la photographe, du suicide de sa grande sœur (ses parents formant un noyau familial dysfonctionnel attachés à leur image de couple de banlieu sans histoire) à ses amitiés queer avec des artistes du lower New York, dont bcp sont morts du sida.
