Horreur SF fantastique drame 1h45 La peau froide est un film de science fiction franco espagnol sorti en 2017. Il s’agit de l’adaptation du roman La Peau froide d'Albert Sánchez Piñol (2002). un jeune climatologue débarque sur un îlot perdu de l'Atlantique Sud pour y travailler pendant un an. Il rencontre le gardien de phare, étrange personnage à la personnalité torturée. Il découvre rapidement qu'ils ne sont pas seuls. À la nuit tombée, d'étranges et redoutables créatures surgissent de la mer. barricadés dans leur phare, ils repoussent les assauts de ces monstres à la peau froide. Bonne réalisation, bons effets spéciaux. Le script est soigné, les acteurs très crédibles. Difficile de rentrer dedans, j'ai du recommencer au minimum 7fois le début du film...Xavier Gens a du mal à installer un climat inquiétant, le film est trop long pour ce qu'il a à raconter (l'intrigue est mince) et se répète par moment. De plus le mystère est trop vite dévoilé, la voix-off n'apporte pas grand chose, à part un visuel pas vilain il n'y a pas grand chose à tirer de ce film insignifiant.
