Tina est superstar dans le milieu de la lutte féminine, Christie est à la fois voleuse et tueuse à gages, Princesse Kasumi est, elle, une aristocrate asiatique initiée par des maîtres en arts martiaux. Quant à Héléna, c'est une athlète en sports extrêmes dont le passé tragique est lié à l'endroit où se déroule le tournoi.
