Summary
Keen young Raymold Avila joins the Internal Affairs Department of the Los Angeles police. He and partner Amy Wallace are soon looking closely at the activities of cop Dennis Peck whose financial holdings start to suggest something shady. Indeed Peck is involved in any number of dubious or downright criminal activities. He is also devious, a womaniser, and a clever manipulator, and he starts to turn his attention on Avila.

Une enquête interne ramène tout à Denis Peck, un flic exemplaire de longue date. « Affaires privées » est vraiment l’ambiance typique des 90’s ; dialogues / répliques, musiques, façon de filmer. Un tête à tête entre deux flics plutôt efficace et pas mal construit dont on se demande comment ça va se terminer. Pour une fois Gere n’est paaaas le beau gosse de d’habitude. Enfin si, c’est « Witcharg’ » quand même maiiiis regarde le film ahah. Un peu dommage que l’ensemble retombe sur le dernier quart d’heure mais sympa dans l’ensemble
🎬 Un polar rondement mené de Mike Figgis, un thriller qui se veut à la fois érotique et violent, avec un scénario intéressant. Richard Gere parfait en ripou manipulateur et Andy Garcia qui tient ici une de ses premières têtes d'affiches. À noter l'excellente prestation aussi de la ravissante Nancy Travis qui joue le rôle de la compagne d'Andy Garcia. Du bon polar de la fin des années 80. 🎬 🎬 🎬
