🎬 Un conte fantastique réalisé par Peter Yates, un ingénieux mélange d'Heroic Fantasy et de science-fiction. Une référence pour toute une génération de gamins, comme Dark Crystal, ou Conan. À l'ancienne, avec des effets spéciaux avant le numérique, ce n'est pas de nos jours qu'on pourra recréer une telle ambiance cinématographique, avec si peu de prétention. Un monstre intergalactique et son armée funèbre atterrit sur la planète Krull pour l’asservir et l’anéantir. Les royaumes rivaux devront s’allier en mariant leurs héritiers du trône. Pendant que la princesse se fait enlever, le prince part vers une quête constituée d’une succession d’épreuves surnaturelles. Le film souffre d’un côté kitch et dépassé, mais le récit intemporel et les décors naturels eux, n’ont pas pris une ride. 🎬 🎬 🎬
