Synopsis
In an attempt to remind her family of their privilege and help them bond, Ms. Anna Barker invites Pilgrim reenactors to stay with them over Thanksgiving. When the “actors” refuse to break character, the Barker family learns that there is such a thing as too much gratitude.
This is the best “bad” movie I have ever seen. Definitely it’s thought this was going to be a seriously bad movie centered on the whitewashing of Thanksgiving. But no. Those pilgrims didn’t give a fuck about blackness, it was all about the simplicity of gratitude. 🙏🏾 the black gospel music is top tier. And the fight scenes are hardcore af, beating your enemy with your head husband’s head that was served to you on a platter? What the entire fuck.
