Le film est fou, grandiose avec énormément de moyens. C'est un fresque historique impressionnante. Même si ça tire un peu en longueur...
Très théâtral, très belle Isabelle Adjani
Août 1572 : Marguerite de Valois, sœur du Roi Charles IX est belle, jeune et catholique. Pour renforcer la France, Catherine de Médicis, sa mère, la marie de force au protestant Henri de Navarre. Mais le massacre de la Saint Barthélemy est là qui s'annonce. Revu avec Aurèle sur Canal le 07/12/2024. Version amputée d’une vingtaine de minutes à priori par rapport à celle sortie en salle, dommage… Pas évident de s’y retrouver dans les personnages si on n’a pas révisé son Histoire de France avant 🤪 Des scènes d’anthologie et des images d’une grande beauté. Pas contre pas fan de la musique sur certaines scènes.
