Western sous estimé !!!

Considéré comme un grand western, un des films préférés de mon père, avec John Wayne et d’Howard Hawks. Je l’ai pas dit à mon père lol mais bon, j’ai pas trouvé ça ouf. J’aime bien les western, mais là ça fait un peu caricature du vieux western américain, avec John Wayne en cowboy vieillissant mais très américain, des petites meufs autour qui folâtrent et séduisent les mecs, des scènes de bataille un peu à l’ancienne… L’histoire en elle-même est pas mal, mais bon, j’ai pas accroché.
🎬 Le dernier film de l'immense Howard Hawks, John Wayne même avec un peu de bide est toujours un bulldozer de charisme. Le début est époustouflant avec la scène du train attaqué par les sudistes. Jack Elam, dans le rôle du vieux Phillips buveur de whisky, joue là une de ses meilleures compositions. Rio Lobo constitue sans nul doute une valeur sûre du western américain. Guerre de sécession, sheriff corrompu, propriétaire terrien véreux, femmes fortes, scènes de fusillades, Howard Hawks a tout réuni pour nous livrer ce grand film. Un bon divertissement. 🎬 🎬 🎬
