Le film retrace l'histoire du grand corps malade à l'hôpital. Après un accident il est tétraplégique. Grâce au soignant et en particulier le kiné il récupère en mobilité. La plupart des patients autour de lui sont dans des cas plus graves et ne retrouvent pas leur fonction.

Super film. Émouvant sans tomber dans me pathos
Se laver, s'habiller, marcher, voici ce que Ben ne peut plus faire à son arrivée dans un centre de rééducation suite à un grave accident. Ses nouveaux amis sont tétras, paras ou traumas crâniens. Ensemble, ils vont apprendre la patience. Ils vont résister, se disputer, se séduire mais surtout trouver l'énergie pour réapprendre à vivre. C'est l'histoire d'une renaissance, d'un voyage chaotique fait de victoires et de défaites, mais surtout de rencontres : on ne guérit pas seul.
