Community Reviews
Viewers of 'The Long Walk' find themselves immersed in a gripping, albeit often predictable, narrative filled with intense relationships and brutal realities. While the film captivates with strong emotional connections among characters and a raw portrayal of a dystopian competition, some felt it lacked depth in character development and was overly graphic. The adaptation from the book received mixed reactions, with some appreciating the emotional weight and others feeling it fell short in delivering a critical societal commentary.

Haunting. No one actually wins the Long Walk because no one escapes from the trauma of losing your friends. I thought that everyone disappearing in the end symbolized that Pete was killed soon after killing the Major. But it could also symbolize that he lost the ability to see the light in life. His friend Ray ultimately tricks him into winning and that loss was enough to enact the violence he originally convinced Ray to abandon. Forever changed.
j’ai bcp aimé, le film a du sens malgré son apparence simple
