Un aventurier découvre une civilisation en ayant été appelé pour mapper une partie de la carte du Brésil, il va vouloir en savoir plus, quitte à sacrifier sa vie de famille.
Un très bon film que j’ai détesté regarder, c'est contradictoire je sais bien mais c’est vraiment pas pour moi les films guerre / aventure. Le film est très beau sinon, le fait que ça soit une histoire vraie est encore plus impactant. Charlie Hunnam est incroyable, c’est le deuxième film que je vois avec lui et il est clairement sous-côté !! (Arte)
Un film un peu long, sur un noble anglais assez obstiné qui part à l’aventure en Amazonie, en partie pour laver l’honneur de sa famille. Il est tiraillé entre sa soif de réussir et le fait de renoncer à sa famille. C’est une autre époque, mais il est assez autocentré en fin de compte…
