Les dinosaures ne sont pas morts alors qu’ils auraient dû, la question se pose de savoir pourquoi ? Une expédition est organisée sur Isla Sorna pour y répondre. Ian Malcolm est de retour avec Juliane Moore à ses côtés pour affronter une équipe quelque peu musclée. Enjeux différents, long-métrage plus affirmé, effets spéciaux encore plus beaux, « le monde perdu » a de nouveaux atouts pour séduire un public déjà averti. Les T. Rex sont magnifiques (sûrement les mieux réalisés de l’ensemble des films), les raptors toujours aussi féroces et les nouveaux venus apportent un vent de fraicheur qui captent d’entrée de jeu le spectateur. Spielberg nous offre encore une fois un spectacle ahurissant mêlant action + aventure (mention au final façon King Kong) et confirme que Jurassic Park n’était pas un « coup d’bol ». Nous avons affaire à une vraie suite a laquelle John Williams complète même le thème musical. J’ai du mal à comprendre les pseudos mauvaises critiques
