18 avisEasy read. Many chapters are very short. The writing style is not elaborate. The plot is interesting even though it falls short on some aspects.
So easy to read and hard to put down. Plot twist was expected but still really fun book.
Thriller psychologique. Millie la mais se fait employer par Nina la femme riche qui se le méchante et folle et effrayante. Avec sa fille pourrie gâtée et méchante. Et le pauvre mari beau et gentil. Et en fait ce mari la torture et la séquestre et Millie a été recrutée par Nina pour qu’elle la remplace puis qu’elle le tue à sa place. Effrayant et stressant la fin. L’auteure a réussi à rendre le personnage de Andrew vraiment menaçant et effrayant. Mais tout est bien qui finit bien car le flic était le père d’une fiancée abusée dans le passé par ce gars. A la fin encore plus flippant et triste pour Andrew quand on apprend que c’est elle qui le torturait enfant. Elle lui avait arraché une dent de lait quand il ne s’était pas lavé les dents. Quand on sait que c’est la torture que lui a fait subir Millie… on a de la peine pour Andrew et en même temps sentiment de malaise… Effrayant comme livre !
Très prenant, se lit vite Retournements de situation et dénouement inatendu
