I loved the different kinds of death from each life to the next. It felt like a video game, in a good way, and it reminded me of Cabin In The Woods.

I watched this movie at the theater with my friends (Eva, Luc, Gab, Anna, Nils), which made the experience a thousand times more enjoyable. I actually like the idea and I'm sure the game is probably great. But to me, some things didn't work out in the movie. First of all, why sell it as a Daily reset situation when it obviously isn't? They supposedly forget everything about the previous days, and you're telling me new stuff happen to them day after day? And they're supposed to find clues to escape from the loop? How exactly are they supposed to do that? And why would one girl (Clover) remember stuff like things demons told her? Why only her? I had a theory which could explain it but apparently I was wrong. Also, they all respawn in the original position they were at when the loop started each new day. Then why did Megan (the spiritual girl) disappear on the last day? Because she was held somewhere? And they didn't kill her? Then she would probably have escaped the loop. It just doesn't make any sense. Another weird thing : water??? You're telling me they get thirsty, ok i get it. I mean who wouldn't, after 3 whole nights without a drop of water. But then we realized that, for sure, the water is poisonous. Then what the hell did they do? Just forget about their thirst? Idk. I may have forgotten this haha, no idea. And let's just not talk about the design and the name of the wabidi something. Please try making something even more unserious next time. About my theory : Clover is obviously the main character. She's the one who brought her friends to that house in the first place to look for her lost sister. Okay got it. Knowing that, she's the one asking direction to the guy in the store. Btw super sus, really have to be blind not to notice something is off with this guy. It's clear he's leading them into a trap but hey that's fair, it actually is the place they're looking for. Later, she's the one who gets information from the witch. Why? Why would she give any information in the first place? Why to her and not the others? The others also interacted with evils. Moreover, she REMEMBERS. And this gives them the chance to make a plan and survive in the end. The doctor speaks to her only later. Just at any point in the movie, if evils want to interact, it's with her only. Therefore, my theory. It can be confirmed or at least reinforced by the whole about how she's sick etc according to the doctor, and that evil is actually coming from her. I believe she is indeed involved in all that's happening. We know that she was impacted real bad by the loss of her parents, followed by the departure of her sister. She doesn't want to believe that she's gone, that she has abandoned her. That she left her all alone. So she tries to find her. She does everything she can to do so. Which led me to think she may have invented all that happened. She tried to find a reason, an explanation to why her sister left her. She was hurt so bad that the only explanation she could find was something so crazy like her being stuck forever somewhere, turned into some nightmarish creature. This would explain why she didn't come back. It would not be Clover's fault. I think it's all happening in her head. That she made up her friends and all that's happening. I think she's locked into some psycho ward and that the doc character is actually her real doctor, trying to cure her depression / madness.
