Summary
In a government-sponsored laboratory in Florida, Professor Henry Sevilla and his staff are studying the possibility of communication with dolphins. But Sevilla's lab becomes a pawn in a larger game -- that of military research; his discoveries are to be used for warfare. As the cold war intensifies, he and his staff are watched by two competing security agencies, and the United States finds itself on the brink of nuclear war.
