Encore un magnifique roman de Pierre Lemaitre entre Saigon, Beyrouth et Paris, nous suivons les aventures de la famille Pelletier qui provient d’une lignée surprenante à la laquelle je ne m’attendais pas et qui m’a ravie! Le livre est très bien documenté sur la guerre d’Indochine, sur le trafic de la piastre, sur le journalisme, sur l’époque d’après guerre, c’est un travail méticuleux. Et puis les rapports humains, les meurtres, la vengeance et Joseph… un bon Pierre Lemaitre!
