L’histoire met du temps à s’installer. J’attends l’arrivée d’Emilie longtemps et lorsqu’elle arrive je ne m’attendais pas à cette relation. Jusqu’à la fin je suis en haleine, frustrée, impatiente. C’est en fait une histoire d’amour qui ne verra jamais le jour. Et l’auteur retranscrit tellement bien les émotions que je les ai vécues avec lui. En parallèle l’histoire d’une Algérie qui se déchire, de ses habitants qui se déchirent eux aussi. Et à la fin, les larmes. Le poids ressenti tout au long du roman qui s’envole et pourtant les blessures qui resteront présentes à jamais. Le pardon, dernière étape avant la paix.
