Summary
Connell and Marianne grow up in the same small town in the west of Ireland, but the similarities end there. In school, Connell is popular and well-liked, while Marianne is a loner. But when the two strike up a conversation - awkward but electrifying - something life-changing begins. Normal People is a story of mutual fascination, friendship and love. It takes us from that first conversation to the years beyond, in the company of two people who try to stay apart but find they can't.

8 reviewsc’était super!! vraiment j’ai adoré le lire (même si au début j’étais perturbée par les dialogues insérés dans le texte sans guillemets rien) les personnages sont tellement attachants!!!!! cœur sur les deux et pitié qu’ils apprennent à COMMUNIQUER 😭😭😭😭
The characters are frustrating.
Très très bien, se lit très vite. Histoire d’amour adolescente, un peu déçue de la fin qui laisse libre à court à l’imagination mais je préfère lorsqu’on est moins évasif ! Facile à lire en anglais
Bien mais sans intérêt
💛 Une histoire réaliste et très fine sur deux adolescents qui s’aiment et se repoussent, leurs égarements, leurs contradictions. Parfois un peu trop triste à mon goût. 📍Lu à Hossegor
