Why didn’t they just stay in the living room? Why didn’t t they just jump him? The beginning and middle of the movie set up a promising conclusion that wasn’t delivered. We’re still left with many questions, but not in a fun way. Oh also the plot holes. There are so many. However all actors deserve their flowers. Considering so much of this movie was dialogue among 3 people, they delivered excellently.
"6,5 : Honnêtement, j'ai bien aimé ! C'est plus un thriller psychologique qu'un vrai film d'horreur mais toutes les questions autour de la religion et des croyances étaient intéressantes. J'ai aimé une bonne partie du film mais je regrette certains choix scénaristiques qui prenaient trop le spectateur par la main, rendant le tout finalement un peu simplet."
J’ai rien compris…C’est un film très psychologique assez intéressant et beaucoup de raisonnement font réfléchir mais je n’ai pas tout compris à partir d’un certain moment, j’ai décroché.
I really enjoyed this movie, I feel like the commentary on religion was interesting and I’m always fascinated by the church of Latter Day Saints so I enjoyed this film. There is a lot of theology so if that’s not interesting to you this movie will be a miss but I think it was a really good setting for a horror movie. It wasn’t visually terrifying but to people who believe in god it definitely leaves you feeling uncomfortable lol Great acting and they were able to do a lot with a small cast and most of the movie taking place in a house.
