Summary
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the first 3D open-world game in the Zelda series. Link can travel anywhere and be equipped with weapons and armor found throughout the world to grant him various bonuses. Unlike many games in the series, Breath of the Wild does not impose a specific order in which quests or dungeons must be completed. While the game still has environmental obstacles such as weather effects, inhospitable lands, or powerful enemies, many of them can be overcome using the right method. A lot of critics ranked Breath of the Wild as one of the best video games of all time.

Une évasion du cerveau et une liberté dingue!
Souvent aimé, ce jeu marque un changement important dans la série Zelda, et comment Nintendo doit voir ses licences les plus importantes, en se permettant le changement, même drastique, pour continuer à produire de très bons jeux récents. Passé cela, le jeu souffre de défauts majeurs : environnement certes interactif voire contemplatif mais (très) vide, des obstacles environnementaux parfois frustrants, un système d’armes lui aussi frustrant car ces dernières se cassent en un rien de temps, souvent au pire moment. Le jeu est bon, mais limité techniquement par sa machine, et qui enchaîne certains défauts de gameplay et d’environnements parfois très pénibles car plutôt évidents, cet opus manque de recul sur beaucoup de ces mécaniques, mais annonçait le meilleur pour la suite de Nintendo, car les bonnes idées originales sont toujours présentes. Au delà de la nostalgie ou de la curiosité de découvrir un bout d’histoire de Nintendo, ce n’est pas forcément nécessaire d’y jouer.
