Deltarune

Toby Fox, you’ve done it again. Intricate and detailed story that keeps me invested, complex and thought out new character personalities that rival Undertales, updated interesting gameplay, and that same fan service for Undertale fans. This game is amazing. As of writing this, I’ve played all 4 chapters, each chapter added more substance to the main story of DeltaRune, and I can’t wait for the next chapters. This is honestly rivaling Undertale in terms of video game entertainment, but it would be wrong to rank Deltarune above Undertale, since DeltaRune would not be a thing without Undertale. DeltaRune is in an interesting situation where they already have beloved characters from the Undertale game, and they can just plop them into DeltaRune and be done. But it feels like Toby Fox isn’t lazily adding old characters in order to appeal to old fans, but he’s actually flushing out a completely new story using these characters we love. The reason Undertale is still a 10/10 and this is a 9/10 is because the community aspect of Deltarune isn’t as flushed out as Undertale but with time, it will be.
