Des jours meilleurs raconte avec justesse et émotion le parcours de trois femmes confrontées à l’alcoolisme, obligées d’affronter deux défis majeurs : retrouver la sobriété et participer à un rallye au Maroc. Clovis Cornillac incarne avec bienveillance leur coach, et le trio formé par Valérie Bonneton, Michèle Laroque et Sabrina Ouazani fonctionne à merveille. Il se dégage beaucoup d’humanité et de sincérité de leurs interprétations. Le film aborde sans tabous une réalité souvent tue : l’alcoolisme au féminin, ses stigmates, le déni et le chemin de la reconstruction. C’est une comédie simple, parfois prévisible, mais jouée juste — et c’est justement cette justesse qui la rend touchante et attachante.
Synopsis
Following a car accident, Suzanne loses custody of her three children. She has no choice but to seek treatment at a center for alcoholics. As soon as she arrives, she meets Alice and Diane, two women with strong personalities. Denis, a sports instructor, will try to bring them together around the same goal: to participate in the Dune Rally in the Moroccan desert. He will need a lot of patience and teaching skills to prepare this unlikely team to achieve their goal.
