Call Me by Your Name
Community Reviews
Viewers are captivated by 'Call Me by Your Name', praising its beautiful Italian countryside setting and the poignant, tender portrayal of a summer romance. The film's slow pace allows for a deep exploration of young love and desire, with Timothée Chalamet's performance receiving widespread acclaim. While the film's aesthetic and emotional depth resonate with many, some viewers find the pacing too slow and the narrative focus on a relationship with a significant age difference uncomfortable.
👍 Timothée Chalamet's performance is highly praised.
👎 The slow pace and age gap in the romance may not appeal to everyone.

the vibe is amazing. As an Italian guy, the aesthetic and the "italy" part (the way it's portrayed) are amazing. I hated some scenes, made me quite uncomfortable. The overall thing is great, the acting is pretty good and I loved the way they speak different languages and switch all the time.
Absolutely hated it. The whole dynamic was weird af, the age gap was also creepy. The whole thing was just cringe to me. Great aesthetic though, pretty images & good music
