Synopsis
A young newlywed arrives at her husband s imposing family estate on a windswept English coast and finds herself battling the shadow of his first wife, Rebecca, whose legacy lives on in the house long after her death.

Film d'amour qui change de d'habitude Un peu déroutant On ne comprend pas tout au premier visionnage
Une belle reconstitution de l'époque mais la réalisation peine à installer l'ambiance et le rythme qu'il faudrait. Lily James, trop godiche, fatigue un peu et sa métamorphose finale en Sherlock Holmes n'est pas des plus crédible.

Bonne histoire. Le film est moins effrayant que celui de 1940 réalisé par Hitchckok. Cependant la beauté des images et le côté british, la manoir à la Downton Abbey, la côte découpée, en font un agréable moment de cinéma.
Un scénario qui me semblait au départ prévisible, mais j'ai été très surprise par la tournure prise par l'histoire ! Je recommande vraiment, l'histoire est très prenante et les personnages tout à fait intéressants ! ❤️
