Princess Mononoke captivates audiences with its rich tapestry of ecological and feminist themes, set against a backdrop of stunning hand-drawn animation and a powerful soundtrack. Viewers are deeply moved by the complex characters, particularly the fierce San and the wise Ashitaka, who navigate a world where nature and industrial progress are in conflict. The film's portrayal of moral ambiguities and its lack of clear-cut villains or heroes make it a thought-provoking experience, resonating with themes of coexistence and respect for nature.
👍 Hand-drawn animation adds poetic charm.
👎 May be too intense for children.

Un classique de Miyazaki qui offre toute une réflexion sur la guerre, la fierté humaine, la protection de la nature, et le rapport aux animaux, dans un univers japonais médiéval.
