Synopsis
It is the beginning of the school year. At 13 years old, Ben discovers the effects of puberty on his classmates who have changed a lot. Especially Claire, who is now really pretty. Ben would like her to notice him, but he is hung up by his weight and even the school nurse worries about him. Despite his passion for cooking, Ben decides to go on a long and difficult diet. To face the bullying from Max and his gang, Ben can count on the support of his crazy family and his friends Claire, Eric and Sonia. Together, they start a band for the Christmas show, at the end of a year that will have made them all grow up, gain confidence in themselves, in life and in love.

Ciné plus canal plus 2025 en salle | 1h 20min | Animation De Kristina Dufková | Par Kristina Dufková, Petr Jarchovský Avec Alexis Bourtereau, Ema Novotná, Hugo Kovács Un écolier bien enrobé décide de perdre du poids pour séduire une jolie camarade. J’ai beaucoup aimé ce film d’animation en stop motion très bien fait. Drôle et touchant avec des personnages vivants.
Pas mon style, histoire qui peut aidé des personnes atteint d obésité, j'ai plutôt bien aimé le design des personnages et cet façon du tournage.
Bon film par contre le gamin qui suit une fille après l’école, sous prétexte qu’il est amoureux d’elle, c’est vraiment craignos
Benjamin est diagnostiqué obèse et va se prendre en main pour palier à ça. Sympa, sans plus. « La vie en gros » aborde la perte de poids, les moqueries à l’école, le premier amour mais malgré la réalisation animée, je n’ai ressenti aucune réelle émotion. Rien de fou donc, dommage on commençait à s’accrocher à ce p’tit gars
