Synopsis
Two siblings and three of their friends en route to visit their grandfather's grave in Texas end up falling victim to a family of cannibalistic psychopaths and must survive the terrors of Leatherface and his family.

Une mise en scène brute qui tire un maximum d’efficacité de moyens clairement limités. Les scènes les plus marquantes sont devenues anthologiques, et l’atmosphère poisseuse, lourde et ultra réaliste te colle à la peau du début à la fin. On ressent le manque de budget, mais il est incroyablement bien géré, surtout quand on remet le film dans le contexte de sa sortie. La maison, véritable enfer sur terre, reste l’un des décors les plus cauchemardesques jamais filmés. Un classique qui continue de déranger et de s’imposer comme un des tout meilleurs dans sont domaine.
