Spect.Viewers generally appreciate 'The Village' for its intriguing plot and strong performances, particularly praising Bryce Dallas Howard. The film's atmosphere and Shyamalan's mastery in building suspense are highlighted, though some find the plot twists predictable. The unique blend of horror and drama with a touch of societal commentary resonates well, despite some noting the film feels dated or overly long in parts.

Un thriller particulier.

It was a pretty good movie, I was surprised. The atmosphere given by the title and the poster made me think that it was a scary horror movie, but not really. It was really complex, with a strong message behind it. It criticized the amount of violence present in nowadays' world. This movie moved me, it was beautiful.
Petit plaisir d'enfance (vu en 2006 avec Marine). Le revoir donne une nouvelle vision, j'ai aimé !
