Spect.Viewers are enchanted by 'The Sound of Music', praising Julie Andrews' captivating performance and the film's stunning visuals. The romantic and historical elements blend beautifully, creating a memorable experience. The music and songs are particularly celebrated, contributing to the film's timeless appeal. However, some find the pacing slow and the portrayal of darker themes a bit jarring compared to its overall light-hearted tone.
👍 Julie Andrews' performance is a standout.
👎 Some may find the film's length and shift in tone challenging.

Welll…it started out light and breezy and then became so heavy. I have watched it before, but literally forgot everything. Anyways, the best part is the songs (obviously!), but yeah awk acting, won’t watch again unless necessary.
