La dure réalité de la folie humaine en Iran...
Iran, de nos jours. Un homme croise par hasard celui qu’il croit être son ancien tortionnaire. Mais face à ce père de famille qui nie farouchement avoir été son bourreau, le doute s’installe.

Malgré la tension politique du film, beaucoup d’humour grinçant. Très bonne interprétation.
L'accident est sans doute de lui avoir donné la palme d'or... On peut comprendre le tournage approximatif pour cause de dictature théocratique, beaucoup moins l'invraissemblance et les lourdeurs du scénario.
