I really enjoyed it, Jesse Plemons and Emma were really good. It looks beautiful. The aspect ratio was surprising at first, but I really liked it and felt like it worked for this film. Donnie’s scene was so sad, I had such a visceral reaction to it and it really shook me but I loved it. It added more stakes and the story kept climbing. Jesse’s death scene was surprising, i felt like it leaned more towards the goofy side, but it worked. I really liked the ending with all the humans dying, it’s such a simple scene but showing the severity of what happened and letting it linger felt so ominous and terrifying. I really liked this film, 8/10.
