Viewers have mixed feelings about 'The Secret Agent.' Many praise its deep dive into 1970s Brazil, capturing the era's atmosphere with stunning cinematography and strong performances, particularly by Wagner Moura. The film's narrative complexity and historical depth are frequently highlighted, with some appreciating its puzzle-like structure. However, others find the film overly long and confusing, with some narrative threads feeling unnecessary and detracting from the main plot, leading to a polarized reception.

👍 Stellar performance by Wagner Moura

👎 Some found the plot overly complex and dragging
