no context to the film, yes i get it took 12 years to make and the actors age in it but like what else ..
You know how everyone always saying "Seize the moment" ? I don't know, I'm kinda thinking it's the other way around. You know, like, the moment seizes us. Yeah. Yeah I know. It's constant. The moment... It's like it's always right now you know. Yeah.
Vu à Quimiac. Saga familiale filmée à hauteur d’un jeune garçon qui deviendra jeune adulte ( film tourné sur une dizaine d’années). 1ere partie regardée en VF, mal doublé, grosses ficelles de mise en scène (maris alcooliques et violents…) puis en VO, beaucoup mieux…

Linklater did it the hard way, but he did it. You can't say he didn't put 12 years into a 3 hour film. You can't say it didn't work or wasn't believable. This really is what life is like. Things change.
