Les films sur le milieu hospitalier répondent souvent à la même structure : apprentissage, difficulté, confrontation avec la hiérarchie d'un service public en perdition puis vocation. Celui-ci n'y déroge pas mais fait le job et le fait bien ! Et à le mérite de mettre en lumière le travail des sage-femme et de questionner la place d'un homme dans ce milieu féminin. Melvin Boomer et Karin Viard forment un duo très naturel et attachant.
Synopsis
After failing the medical entrance exam, Léopold enters midwifery school by default, hiding the truth from those around him. While he is unconvinced of his commitment to this exclusively female environment, his meeting with Nathalie, an experienced midwife with a passionate character, will change his view of this fascinating world and upset his certainties.
