Synopsis
In a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, an injured stuntman begins to tell a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm, a fantastic story of five mythical heroes. Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality blurs as the tale advances.

J'ai adoré ce film complètement fou et extrêmement touchant. Il rappelle Big Fish, le conte fantastique qui dissimule une réalité difficile. La partie conte fait très Princess bride, la relation entre le cascadeur et l'enfant très émouvante, et jamais mièvre. Les quelques passages un peu durs et le fait que l'histoire soit globalement assez contemplative le réservera aux plus de 10-12 ans, avec quelques explications pour les plus jeunes.
