Yes I cried at the ballet scene
It was one of my first cartoons, so when I rewatched it my eyes were blinded by a feeling of nostalgia. I really love these characters and it's hard to accept but... it's not a great cartoon at all. Funny, but without important thoughts, heroes are interesting, but story is not. We meet minions here, get to know Gru (and his unexpectedly cruel mom...) and listen to an amazing soundtrack that will play in our head until death. But, with all my love, I can't truly recommend watching it, when we have «Inside out» or «Puss in the boots». so my verdict: 6+1 (for nostalgia) bananas out of 10
