Visuellement, je trouve le film très beau, même si ça reste limité à quelques vrais beaux plans. La mise en scène est très bien et le film se suit tout seul. Le scénario/écriture est bien mais un peu enfantin et preshotable par moments ; malgré ça, j’ai été touché (surtout grâce au chien). J’aime l’idée que tous les monstres ne soient pas méchants, et le passage avec le robot m’a marqué : on voit aussi l’aspect égoïste/aveugle du héros quand il sacrifie la batterie juste pour parler à sa copine. Les dialogues ne sont pas très intéressants, mais il y a des pics émotionnels (encore une fois, le chien aide beaucoup). Côté personnages, seul le héros a un vrai minimum d’écriture/développement ; les autres restent en arrière-plan. Le jeu d’acteur du rôle principal est très bon (voire excellent), le reste est correct. OST bien, montage/rythme excellent (ça passe à toute vitesse). La direction artistique est excellente, décors très bien, costumes bien. Les effets/CGI sont excellents. En émotion, le film est très touchant. Originalité/créativité : assez original sur certains points. Cohérence : ok. Rejouabilité : déjà vu 3 fois. Note exacte : 8,01/10.
