Viewers generally enjoyed 'Sidelined: The QB & Me' for its charming blend of romance and comedy, appreciating the fresh take on a high school setting. Many were pleasantly surprised by Noah Beck's performance, despite initial skepticism due to his social media fame. The film's ability to evoke a range of emotions and its portrayal of a pure, uncomplicated love story were highlights. However, some found the plot predictable and clichéd, with criticisms focusing on the sometimes cringe-worthy dialogue and lack of originality in the storyline.
