Community Reviews

Viewers find 'We Live in Time' deeply moving, highlighting the poignant performances of Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield. The film's non-linear narrative, while innovative, sometimes confuses audiences but ultimately adds a dynamic layer to the storytelling. The emotional depth, combined with moments of joy and sorrow, resonates with many, though some find the pacing uneven and the structure somewhat jarring.

👍 Stellar performances by Pugh and Garfield

👎 Non-linear timeline can be confusing

Really good romance movie, I came into this movie not really expecting much but I really enjoyed it. It’s just a simple love story executed really well. Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh acted really well, as they usually do. I really like the scene where they’re ice-skating and Florence Pugh starts getting away and you could see Andrew Garfield and his daughter waving her goodbye, metaphorically saying goodbye to her since the cancer is gonna kill her. I can’t recall anything to complain about or nitpick, but overall it was just a great romance movie, one of the best romance movies I’ve seen. I just think personally I’m not a huge fan of romance movies so it gets an 8 from me.
