Synopsis

The King's Speech tells the story of the man who became King George VI, the father of Queen Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates, George ('Bertie') reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a dreaded stutter and considered unfit to be king, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue. Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country into war.

Pas mal avec un super acting, g juste trouver le film mou, normal c pas la plus grande histoire du siècle, mais assez bien retranscrite, avec des bonnes enjeux, je conseil mais je regarderais qu’une seul fois

Tom Hooper 2011 Colin Firth = George VI Geoffrey Rush = Lionel Logue En 1936, le prince Albert (George VI) est le fils second du roi George V. Albert bégaie beaucoup et essaie beaucoup de médecins diplômés qui sont mauvais (ces medecins pensent que la cigarette aide a détendre les poumons). Il tombe sur Logue qui l'aidera sur un pied d'égalité et avec ses méthodes bien qu'il n'ait aucun diplôme. George V meurt, son fils aîné le remplace, mais se mariant à une divorcé, il finit lui même vite remplacé par George VI, toujours combattant son bégaiement. Le bègue finit par vaincre son défaut durant la 2nd guerre mondiale.
