Un road movie perturbant. Au début ça ressemble à un simple film sur un père et son fils a la recherche de sa fille. Mais finalement il s'est avéré plus expérimental et sensationnel. On s'intègre assez facilement à la vie marginal des protagonistes, la musique, le decor désertique, l'ambiance est là, et cela renforce l'expérience et l'immersion un peu hors du temps. Et soudainement c'est brutal, presque imprévisible. Et on a pas le temps de s'en remettre que finalement on prends encore de plein fouet, plus rien n'a de sens. C'était un bon moment.
Synopsis
A father and his son arrive at a rave deep in the mountains of southern Morocco. They’re searching for Mar — daughter and sister — who vanished months ago at one of these endless, sleepless parties. Surrounded by electronic music and a raw, unfamiliar sense of freedom, they hand out her photo again and again. Hope is fading but they push through and follow a group of ravers heading to one last party in the desert. As they venture deeper into the burning wilderness, the journey forces them to confront their own limits.
