Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker is universally praised as a high point, bringing a chilling, anarchic depth to the film. The movie's realistic portrayal of Gotham, intense action sequences, and complex character dynamics between Batman, Joker, and Harvey Dent are highlighted as standout elements. However, some viewers found the film's darker tone and philosophical depth as overly pretentious, and the action scenes received mixed reviews.
