Un film inattendu que je trouve bien construit malgré un manque d’une quarantaine de minutes coupé seulement dans les cinémas français qui laisse un vide dans l’histoire construite de ce peintre japonais en marge des coutumes de son temps, peignant des vagues, des éléments naturels plutôt que des hommes, des visages par centaines. Légèrement long mais toutefois assez agréable pour découvrir un univers et la vie d’un artiste peu connu en France.
