Le film est tout simplement incroyable ! J’ai adoré le regarder. Les plans sont magnifiques, le travail sur la lumière, la symétrie, et la réflexion sur la signification de chaque plan est maîtrisé. L'humour décalé est parfaitement dosé, rendant le film drôle sans être absurde. Le point fort du scénario, c’est la mise en abyme, racontant la conception du film, ce qui était un plaisir à suivre avec la création des différents actes. Les dialogues naturels sont une véritable plus-value. La réussite à jouer avec les stéréotypes du nanar, des réactions des personnages à l'amitié presque instantanée, ainsi que les ralentis clichés au bon endroit, apportent un côté décalé que j’apprécie grandement. Enfin, l'acting et le casting sont vraiment très bons.
Synopsis
Creatively unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, Nick Cage must accept a $1 million offer to attend the birthday of a dangerous superfan. Things take a wildly unexpected turn when Cage is recruited by a CIA operative and forced to live up to his own legend, channeling his most iconic and beloved on-screen characters in order to save himself and his loved ones.
