Primé au festival de Cannes en 2023 Un film magnifique
Dieu kairos : dieu de l'occasion opportune, du right time, personnifie la chance qu’il faut saisir au vol
Belle narration pour ce film aux amours qui s'entremêlent. Casting très bon.
Si l’idée est bonne et les acteurs brillants, le scénario ne va pas au bout de son propos qui s’en trouve inachevé. Son air de melo drame au violons grinçants enlèverait presque le dramatique de la situation, en essayant de le rendre trop catastrophique. Restituer la vérité d’une époque ne veut pas dire la dénuer de toute poésie. Sans les artifices de la réalisation, ce film n’est cependant pas moins qu’une très belle épopée sur la quête de soi et de l’autre, à travers l’amour. Surcharge artistique et scénaristique qui nous perd.
