Le film est très prenant et on suit le parcours de la journaliste interprétée par Keira Knightley mettant en avant la détermination d’une femme dans un univers masculin. Ce qui en fait un film bien différent de la même histoire racontée en 1968 avec Tony Curtis. Le côté enquête policière n’est pas oublié et tient le suspens jusqu’au bout
