Plein de positivité pour ce film très très bien réalisé par le grand Villeneuve même si les caractéristiques de cette œuvre ne rassemblent pas forcément les dogmes du réalisateur canadien. Une très bonne histoire et un casting parfait mais le gros point négatif réside sans doute dans le développement narratif du film, Villeneuve nous donne pleins de pistes sans forcément les suivre. Cela pour être un choix délibérer par exemple pour une potentielle suite du film mais ici on voit bien que le réalisateur a été dépassé par son histoire et pour éviter de se perdre à tout simplement écourté l’histoire et c’est vraiment frustrant et dommage car cela reste un très bon thriller et pourrais planer sur le podium des meilleurs de son genre.
Synopsis
Keller Dover is facing every parent’s worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street.
