I hadn’t watched this movie since I was a teen (and had loved it). Watching it as an adult was alarming! It did NOT hold up! Having high schoolers put in such a sexualized adult plot seemed ethically and morally wrong. I’m kind of horrified that I actually used to love it! 😳😧 Selma Blair (27) was playing an immature 15 year old. Ryan Phillippe (25), Sarah Michell Gellar (22), and Reese Witherspoon (23) played 17 year olds.
