Spect.Viewers generally find 'The Black Phone' to be a gripping blend of horror and drama, with its unique premise of a kidnapped boy receiving help from past victims via a disconnected phone. The film is praised for its suspenseful and emotionally impactful narrative, strong performances, especially by the younger actors, and its blend of supernatural elements with a realistic 1970s setting. However, some find the horror elements like jump scares a bit predictable, and the backstory of the antagonist underdeveloped.
👍 Unique premise of supernatural aid in a kidnapping scenario.
👎 Some backstory elements remain unexplained.

Un formidable huis-clos théâtral, stressant !
Personnages secondaires pas construits et inutiles et le scénario ne m’a pas forcément emballer , sympa mais sans plus , un poil surcoté
Objectivement: 3/10 Subjectivement: 3/10
Another film that was quite tense at the start but then didn't seem to make much sense once the main character was captured. Didn't quite work for me
