J’ai bien aimé les musiques et l’ambiance de la danse. Par contre la place des femmes est horrible, trop clichés. Mais bon ça reste un classique. Pas ouf !

Synopsis

Film emblématique de la période disco à la bande son mythique , il est aussi bien plus profond et grave que l on pourrait imaginer et une photographie assez crue et désespérée de la jeunesse de l époque Travolta crève l écran , tt a tour bravache et sensible - et quel déhanché !!! A 19 ans, le jeune Tony Manero est le roi du weekend, la star des dance-floors de son quartier de Brooklyn. Mais la semaine, le retour à la vraie vie est difficile. Jusqu'au jour où Tony rencontre la belle Stephanie qui lui fait prendre conscience qu'il existe peut-être un autre monde à découvrir au delà des murs de brique des bas-quartiers de New York.
Honestly, an unexpected great movie. It was surprisingly refreshing to see a protagonist that was so morally gray as Tony. John Travolta is incredible in this and his acting is amazing. The music was what really hooked me into this movie, but the cinematography is decent, the acting is not half bad, and I was genuinely invested in the story (unlike newer Marvel or Disney films). It was really good, and a well deserved 8/10.
